Job Description

We are seeking a certified Epic Analyst with expertise in Beacon, Professional Billing (PB), or Ambulatory to join our clients' healthcare IT team. This role is responsible for the configuration, optimization, and support of the Epic EHR system to enhance workflow efficiency and patient care. The ideal candidate will work closely with clinical, billing, and operational teams to implement solutions that improve system functionality and user experience.

Epic Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Configure, optimize, and maintain Epic Beacon, PB, or Ambulatory applications to support business and clinical needs.
  • Collaborate with end-users to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement system enhancements.
  • Perform system testing, validation, and upgrades while ensuring compliance with Epic standards.
  • Analyze workflows and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and user satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and user guides.
  • Provide ongoing support, training, and troubleshooting for Epic users across departments.
  • Work closely with IT, clinical, and revenue cycle teams to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Stay updated on Epic updates, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure system compliance.
Epic Analyst Requirements:
  • Must be certified in Beacon, Professional Billing (PB), or Ambulatory
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Epic Analyst, Epic Trainer, or Healthcare IT Specialist
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare informatics, IT, business, or a related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of Epic build, configuration, and optimization
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative environment
