SCHEDULE: Wed & Thur (noon to 7:30p) Fri & Sat (3-10:30p) Sun (12-7:30p) / part time available

Duties of this position include:

• Provide awesome customer service timely, anticipate needs and clearly explain our products
• Operate equipment and serve products which include packaging baked goods, scooping and serving ice cream, and preparing drinks, adhere to our process and measurements
• Monitor product quality and freshness and make packaging
• Follow and comply with all established procedures and all state and local health codes
• Maintain highest standard of cleanliness and order in storefront - lots of cleaning and restocking
• Ensure opening and closing and shift change procedures are completed consistently
• Proper cash management and remain calm and efficient during high volume
• Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes Awesome Bites’ culture, values and mission.

Skills needed:

• No prior experience needed. 
• Punctual, arrive ready to work
• Positive, energetic attitude, all the awesome attributes you’d expect from your team member
• Thrives in fast paced environment, self-motivated, multi-tasking and flexible
• Meticulous attention to detail while performing the job quickly
• Strong communication with team, engaging with customers
• Calm under pressure and navigates adversity with grace
• Able to adhere to the seriousness of food allergies and cross contamination
• Comfortable working on your own / Self Starter
• Math and basic computer skills

The bake & ice cream shop associate aka awesome ambassador will give friendly, attentive service to our customers, prepare orders, be knowledgeable on our products and Awesome Bites’ mission.

All retail positions require experience delivering great, friendly customer service, handling orders and register, ability to stand for long periods, repetitive physical activity, lifting 25-50 pounds, bending up and down.
